Chewy, Make them Chewy for Crunchy Simply Will Not Do

welcome nightly moonshine
for we meet at last
shall you cast your gaze and
light the night with
all that you know
for you shall be
welcomed with your
brightly magnificent glow
light up the world
as you do for those
who forever wish to
walk in the midnight sun

when shall you
ever comprehend
the magnitude
of the situation
that lies before us

what shall it
take for you
to give the
respect to those
who deserve it

why need it
come down to this
another life taken
gone from what
we are known by

do you know now
the seriousness that
haunts our memories

the question is
why does it take
an emotionless man
shedding a tear
to bring the light
into your eyes

when the moon crys
does it shower us
with its tears
glistening in the light
of their creator
they shall fall
onto us
gracing us
with their
eerie presence
that encases
our own being

Sounds that Fill the Smell

a single tread
lies in the road
lost, forgotten, untrusted

breathe the air you
can not see for
it shall make you
lighter in attempt to
bring about and empty
feeling that shall
encase the earth
if it is enabled
to do so

pain; a word everyone
knows yet no words
can describe the
feeling it causes inside

Lofty Oppression

unable to breathe
thoughts are trapped
and confined into
containment to be
controlled by those
who dictate what
may happen
for responsibility
shall never fall
into the wrong hands
for blame would be
distributed for all
to be accounted for

Hearts Pounding

heat escapes into the room
lovers entangled become one
flowing minds connect and
disperse the conveying thoughts
that hinder in the heat aloft
trapped by the confinements of man
unable to leak into the open
free to rise as pleases to match
that of man

We All Fall Once

music stuffed in your ears
can only muffle and create a fog
around the words
spoken from the other room
now inaudible they loose
their meaning to those who
can't hear how they sound
tears caress your cheek
as gravity captures the
falling containments of sorrow
they soak into your pillow
reawakening the crusty salt
from the past encounters
of these truly painful times

Yes He Doth

sorrow fills our eyes
as memories rum rampant
through our minds
times of old are remembered
for that is what
we are left with
an emptiness fills our
hearts as the pain
attacks our emotions
flooding our conscious
with his presence
forever shall he be
remembered

Red Lumps

like a hole in a pump
it gushes its fluids
unable to heal
look back you shall
past the foggy layer
of confusion
that has arisen
look back you shall
and see the cold
eyes that stare
you blindly in the face
cold and deceitful
married with a grin
