Progress

its like a drug
once i get my hands on it
and get it into my system
i get a surge through my body
a sense of power
that takes over

its free, if you know how
all you have to do
is know the right people
or be in the right place
at the right time

i need more
more to quench the craving
the control that it has
over my body, it does
what it pleases to me

so i will forever
need more of it
to complete my feeling
of withdrawals that
overcome my body
letting me know
i need, not want it
